The new Rehoboth Beach Museum opened November 18. The project was overseen by the Rehoboth Beach Historical Society. November 18, 2007 New Rehoboth Beach Museum Opens
October 11, 2007 Meeting
Local, renowned photographer, Kevin Fleming (Click name to visit website), gave a mesmerizing power point presentation which summarized his new book, Heart of America. Fleming was most gracious and answered many questions. He made available a signed copy of his book at a discount. The evening was enjoyed by many and all in attendance.
President Cheryl McCann thanked Fleming and presented him with an Honorary Membership Certificate and a basket of flowers.
A Brief meeting followed :
* Richard Rhodes reminded all of the trip to Bombay Hook National Wildlife Refuge on Saturday, October 20th, to meet at the visitors center at 3:00 p.m...
* Violet Chilcoat informed us that Fleming's book will be a feature on WSCL's fund raiser in the near future.
* Lew Dumont announced that the photography exhibit at Prime Hook National Wildlife Refuge is having their opening reception on Sunday, October 14, from 2-4 p.m.
The competition theme for the upcoming meeting on Thursday, October 25th is Glass.
