Horseshoe Crab Field Trip
OK!!! Two field trips out of two had weather problems. For the Horseshoe Photo Op, the day dawned cold and cloudy and stayed that way throughout. Still, the dauntless few met at the prescribed spot but Alas! No Horsehoe Crabs (I think long ago, they were called King Crabs). We all enjoyed a walk on the windy beach with absolutely no insect problem (they were hanging onto anything they could hold onto, for dear life). Anywayz, here are some photos that were taken during the outing. Ken Arni had a close encounter with a Fox and a Bird that was asking "Where are the Horsehoe Crabs?", as shown in his photos. Anne sent in some shots of the awful weather, but still beachy scenes that she took. I was just messing with bracketing 3 shots at +/_ 2 exposure stops to make some HDR's for fun. The best part of the trip was the good fellowship and company of the members getting together.....Maybe the Third trip (Assawoman) will be a Charm. Tom
