Q: Is there a Windows XP function that allows resizing of photos?
A: No, but you can go to: http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/powertoys/xppowertoys.mspx and download Microsoft 'Image Resizer'. It is a free program from MS and will resize .jpg and .tif images (not RAW). After downloading and installing program, just right-click on photo and choose the size you would like to resize from the drop-down menu that appears. The image will be saved as a copy in the same folder. There are some other free XP enhancement programs (such as a RAW photo reviewer) by Microsoft on this page, as well.
